Keiran Qaium
Physiotherapist

APA Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist BPhty, M.Physio (sports), M. High Performance Sport

My aim is to assist people being the best they can be, whether it is in sport, art, or day to day life. I aim to work with what is realistic, while at the same time encouraging people to find what they are truely capable of. Having personally gone through a significant shoulder injury while participating in sport, I strongly empathise with those who see me who can no longer do what they love, and will work as best I can to help return them, as was done with me here at sportslab when I went through it.

About Keiran

I was initially introduced to Sportslab as a patient, coming in due to help optimise performance in competitive swimming. After graduating in 2017, I continued to swim and work, but after a shoulder injury I decided to focus on my physiotherapy carer.

Since 2018 I have work closely with Sydney swimming clubs, and NSW swimming to help the next generation perform to the best of their ability. I went back to do further study and am in the process of getting research on swimming shoulders published.  I have also worked with Sydney Uni AFL for the last four years, and have taken co-leadership position in the field with college David Johnson. In my free time I enjoy training for triathlons.
