How Physiotherapists can help with AxIT Assessments

AXIT

What does an AxIT involve?

An AxIT Assessment involves a comprehensive series of movement tests using three devices to gain valuable objective data on how you move. These assessments may be performed in session or as a standalone service to help guide our management plan and get the best possible outcomes for your health and fitness!

Why the AxIT system?
How do you know if things are improving? Sometimes this can be difficult to determine.
That’s why we are committed to using the latest assessment technology previously only found in million dollar sports clubs so that we can look after you like an elite athlete!
We have been using the AXIT strength and performance testing system at Sports Lab for over a year now. This system allows us to test for muscle imbalances shown to lead to reduced performance and injury. Strength testing of all lower and upper body muscle regions can isolate specific deficiencies related to pain, stiffness or instability. Jump and hop testing as well as athletic shoulder testing can identify issues with rate of force development, force absorption, asymmetry between limbs and plyometric ability. These are all tests shown to correlate to both performance and injury prevention in peer reviewed studies.

So if you are serious about preventing injury or making 2022 your best year of competition, book an AXIT assessment session today.
Your session includes an easy to interpret electronic report for you and your coaches. Normal private health rebates apply.

AxIT helps:
  • Measure your movement baselines.
What can you do right now?
  • Measure imbalances in the way you move.
Is there something holding you back?
  • Track your progression over time.
Is the plan in place being effective?
  • Keep you motivated to succeed.
See your improvement every step of the way.
