Full Time – Receptionist/Front of House
Sports Lab is a well-established Physiotherapy and Allied Health Clinic based in multiple locations across Sydney.
We are seeking an experienced, full-time receptionist for our Drummoyne Clinic to commence as soon as possible to help provide clinic support services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the Sports Lab practice.
The duties listed below are required to be completed as part of your role:
Main Activities Include:
- Welcome and greet/assist/direct clients, guests, subcontractors, staff, manager, reps, or the general public with a warm, friendly and approachable manner immediately upon entering the clinic or calling over the phone. Share the same positive customer service upon each departure or call ending.
- Adhere to policy and procedures during all activities
- Keeping a clean and calm reception area/clinic overall.
- Scheduling appointments
- Reviewing and co-ordinating the booking system across all patients and practitioners
- Ensure that stock levels are adequate and orders are made timeously.
- Promptly revert back to enquiries, phone calls, missed phone calls, voicemails, emails, walk-in queries etc.
- Receiving, directing and relaying phone calls, emails and messages to the relevant practitioners/manager.
- Processing billing and payments
- Follow up on overdue patient accounts
- Invoice and receipt patient transactions
- Scanning, filling and mailing documentation.
- Action End of Day reports and balance the clinics takings
- Maintain confidentiality at all times of all practitioners, staff, patient and overall clinic information.
- Collect and distribute incoming mail or deliveries. All clinic deliveries to be unpacked same day of receiving it.
- Notify Manager of any incident or potential incident relating to patients or staff
- Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation
- Providing general administrative assistance to practice partners, managers and other team members as required.
- Participate in meetings, staff training and development and performance reviews
- Other duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time (38 hours per week)
Experience: Front desk: 1+ year (Preferred)

You must be prepared to work as part of our highly motivated massage team that has a heavy focus on consistently delivering high quality evidence based service within multidisciplinary clinics.
You must be able to liaise and refer confidently with other health care professionals, both written and verbally and take instruction from colleagues to affect appropriate management of our valued clientele.
Applicants MUST have:
• Minimum of Diploma level qualification
• Association membership with a reputable association eg. AAMT or ANTA
• Professional indemnity/public liability insurance for $10 mil
• Health fund provider recognition with ALL health funds
• Be available to work Saturday AM and between 4-6 other weekday shifts (determined by the roster coordinator) with the possibility to increase as required.
• Be available to work across multiple locations
