David has a background in swimming and several years of Physiotherapy experience with sports teams. He has worked at five private practices and three public hospitals where he worked extensively in rehabilitation fracture management and aged care. David founded Sportslab in 2003. He has a special interest in shoulder and knee injuries and often visits with orthopaedic surgeons in order to stay completely up to date with surgical and non surgical treatment options for acute and chronic injuries. David works at both the Drummoyne and Double Bay practices each day and is an accredited New South Wales Institute of Sport (NSWIS) Physiotherapist.
Brendan Browner (Physiotherapist, McKenzie Therapist)
Brendan has 20 years of Physiotherapy experience, including 7 years with Randwick Rugby Club and many years with Soccer, Rugby League, AFL and Netball Clubs.
Brendan has a particular interest in complex and chronic back and neck conditions. He has a post-graduate qualification in the McKenzie Method. The McKenzie Method is a proven system of accurately diagnosing and treating back and neck pain which has been verified by research programs and shown to be as accurate as MRI in diagnosing the cause of back pain.
To qualify as a McKenzie Practitioner, a Physiotherapist has to follow an intensive program of post-graduate and clinical practice. Brendan Browner has a reputation as the person to see for complex or chronic back or neck problems - even when other methods and practitioners have failed to get a result elsewhere. This is primarily due to his expertise in the McKenzie Method.
