Summary:

After graduating from Macquarie University, Matt has been in private practice as a Chiropractor since 2000. A lecturer and tutor in Rehabilitation at the Department of Health & Chiropractic at Macquarie University, Matt has published several articles in scientific journals and is a member of COCA , ESSA, SMA and FICS. He actively attends various seminars from a number of different health professionals, broadening his outlook and keeping him up to date.

As a qualified Exercise Physiologist, Matt incorporates his expertise in exercise prescription into the rehabilitation component of Chiropractic care at Sports Lab. His other clinical interests include instrument soft tissue therapy, Impulse Instrument Adjusting, cranial therapy and dry needling. Matt works with the West Tigers Toyota Cup under 20's side as their chiropractor and core strength trainer. When not in practice, he participates in oz tag, ocean swimming and waterpolo. Throughout the summer months he also volunteers his time at Coogee Surf Club teaching surf skills to life savers of all ages.

Summary:

Alana graduated from Macquarie University in 2005 with a Masters of Chiropractic. Since then she has worked in a number of practices in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Australia while gaining invaluable experience and mentoring.

Alana has a special clinical interest in treating families and especially in caring for babies and children and furthering her expertise has completed postgraduate studies in chiropractic paediatric care. She attends educational seminars regularly to provide excellence in patient care supported by the latest evidence based research. She has a keen interest in exercise rehabilitation and has been a qualified fitness instructor for 8 years.

Prior to his Chiropractic studies, Danny worked as a Personal Trainer.  His background in nutrition and fitness allows him to incorporate this expertise into the nutritional and rehabilitation component of chiropractic care.  This knowledge, combined with attending various educational seminars allows him to provide patients with a whole body Chiropractic approach.

His clinical interests extend far beyond the traditional neck and back pain, which include sport injuries, headaches, neurodynamics and injury prevention.

After graduating in 2004 from completing his Chiropractic Degree George worked for 8 months in Sydney after which he lived-and-worked-abroad in Athens, Greece for 6 years. Whilst in Athens his close proximity to adjacent countries in Europe allowed him to travel to Italy, Germany, Switzerland to observe some of the world finest Orthopedic and Rheumatology Doctors, as well as Chiropractors.

George also had the pleasure of treating the whole elite 100m American Sprint Team during their casting in 2008 for the Omega Commercial at Athens, for the Beijing Olympics. Having Treated many Celebrities, Parliamentarians and Sports Personalities in Athens allowed him to be awarded for the Who-is-Who Award for his contributions to society.

George Prorellis is working at Sports Lab Double Bay so that he may bring his extensive knowledge and experience to the practice whilst collaborating with many knowledgeable Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists, Nutritionists as well as Pilates Instructors to yield the best treatment result for the patients.
